IP and Ports: Allow ADS-B data with your firewall
Why do we need access to the ADS-B receiver?
- Receive data
- Update the ADS-B receiver with current ICAO information
- Maintain and update the operating core system
- Keep 24/7 tracking of the ADS-B information
- Monitor ADS-B and GPS antenna health
Setting up the Ports and IP addresses
Firewalls often block traffic. Therefore we need these to be open:
IP: 62.243.143.93 Port: 6902 UDP
IP: 62.243.143.98 Port: 80 UDP
Port: 9040 Internally
Alternatively a DMZ solution can be viable.
