Take part in our ADS-B network

We are rolling out a new terrestrial-based ADS-B network for aviation use and you are invited as host.

What is ADS-B?

Automatic dependent surveillance—broadcast (ADS–B) is a flight positioning technology in which an aircraft can be positioned via satellite and periodically broadcasting it, enabling it to be tracked at all times. The information can be received by air traffic control ground stations as a replacement for secondary surveillance radar, as no interrogation signal is needed from the ground. It can also be received by other aircraft to provide situational awareness and allow self-separation.”

Who we are & what we do

Who are we?
We deliver cutting-edge flight planning software to the global aviation industry and our core product is called the PPS Flight Planning System. Our headquarter is located in Billund, Denmark. We also have a Development Department in Odense, Denmark. AIR SUPPORT A/S employs 60 people.

What is flight planning software and its purpose?
Flight planning software is necessary for aircraft operators to use in order to plan the best route for a flight based on set of factors, including weight, fuel and weather. The outcome of such planning is typically a flight briefing package, which the pilots use to execute the flight.

Why do we need your help?

The disappearance of Malaysian Airlines MH370 and Air France AF447 in recent years has resulted in new official rules & regulations (GADSS), which applies to many of our customers worldwide. Many of them now need to be able to track their aircraft anywhere in the world at any given time. We have therefore introduced a new software product called Flight Watch, which enables our customers to track their aircraft.

Flight Watch relies on a continuous stream of ADS-B data from many sources, including our own high-quality terrestrial-based ADS-B network for aviation use, which we are currently rolling out globally. The network consists of numerous ADS-B antennas and receivers worldwide, preferably positioned in high elevation areas.

We believe your geographic location is suitable for one or more ADS-B antennas. We therefore invite you to participate in our hosting program!
